HO SCALE: South Rochester & Eastern RR

This was done for a client who wanted a generic urban switching layout in a New England mill-town setting with just enough action for two operators. He had found a track plan online that he liked, and wanted it adapted for his slightly larger space. His list of Givens & Druthers included several large industries to work, and a minimal of track work. Also high on his list was a small port facility, and some room from urban scenery. As you can see, I was able to squeeze in three large industries, one medium sized, and a few smaller ones. I also included the small waterfront scene with unloading bucket cranes, and a couple of team tracks for some variety in equipment. I think it all came together very nicely.
