HO SCALE: Hastings Industrial District (with Cassette Staging)

This design was original done for a client back in February 2014. He only had limited space for a layout, but wanted something that could keep him busy for an hour or so. I introduced him to switching using way-bills and switch lists, and he was quite happy with the layout for the few months it was in operation. The layout didn't progress any further than bare plywood and mocked up structures, but the owner learned a lot about prototypical operations, and planned to continue that on his next layout.
