On30 SCALE: Lazy Town (Single Station Design)

Judging from the date on this design (2001), I think it is probably one of my very first designs done in On30 scale (On30 was still in its infancy back then). The original track plan was done using PECO HO turnouts, but I converted them to Fast Track #5s.

The client I designed this layout for wanted a very simple track plan, since he was using it as a test bed for hand laying track and making turnouts in On30. He also wanted a lot of small structures to scratch-built for a small town setting.

Although I do remember that this layout sparked an interest in On30 for me (and I designed quite a few logging layouts in On30 since then) it would take another 13 years before I was also bitten by the On30 bug and started planning my own On30 layout in 2014.

Would a Bachmann On30 2-6-0 Mogul be able to operate on this layout?

I am not sure why you would think that the Mogul won't be able to operate on this layout ... as long as you have the extensions shown at each end, most On30 equipment should be good to go.
