HO SCALE: Switching Spur (Dallas, TX)

This track plan was mocked-up back in May of 2020, but back then I didn't have the time to do the 3D work. Over the last year, I have been picking at adding the 3D scenery as time permitted, and I finally got it completed.

The prototype for this layout is a group of neat little spurs located on the Dallas, Garland, & Northeastern RR (owned by G&W) in Dallas, TX. A member of the Facebook group was in the process of designing an N-scale layout based on the location, and had asked me for some assistance with the track plan. After a bit of research, I could see why he was so drawn to this group of spurs since it offers a nice variety of car types in a small prototypical space which would adapt well to a small space.

I did take a few liberties with the plan which include: Richardson Lumber is served from a spur instead of from the industrial lead; Andrews Logistics was converted to a storage warehouse and flipped to the other side of the track, when it's actually part of the transload chemical plant; and non-rail served Texas Iron & Steel Co was added to the list of online customers. (On the included a map of the actual area the tracks I added are shown by dashed lines.)

Here are the list of online customers, and a breakdown of what they ship/receive:
